I am aware that Ruckman grew up in an era in which racism was more prevalent, however some of the views he espouses now would surely have been considered extreme even during his youth. There seems to be few blacks (if any) who are Ruckmanites. This should not be a surprise, as by his portrayal of blacks it is obvious he is trying to drive them away rather then recruit them to his line of thinking. He does occasionally mention witnessing to blacks, but if some of them would have known his views in advance, it is likely they would have rejected his message. When making derogative comments about blacks, he frequently makes “all inclusive” statements, which is common when trying to create a negative stereotype. Notice how he words the following, as if there were no exceptions:
Prejudice is a permanent trait of colored people, and no amount of “Civil Rights” will ever cure it. (Ruckman, Peter. The Pastoral Epistles. 1989, p. 121)
The following all-inclusive statement is even more blatant. Notice how he uses the words “all” and “every”:
All black people are racists. They have color-consciousness that affects every decision they make in life, and they make decisions on the basis of color. (Ruckman, Peter. The Pastoral Epistles. 1989, p. 121)
In the following quote Ruckman portrays blacks as always less intelligent than whites:
If you notice that no matter how much integration is carried out, the IQ of blacks is ALWAYS lower than whites... (Ruckman, Peter. Discrimination: The Key to Sanity. 1994, p. 15)
In the following quote from a 1994 book, Ruckman continues insulting the intelligence of blacks, even calling them “monkey men:”
…people who could not invent a calendar or even a wheel…Egypt is now the exception which the monkey men use to overthrow the rule. (Ruckman, Peter. Discrimination: The Key to Sanity. 1994, p. 20)
In the following quote, Ruckman refers to those who want to mix the races as being “mentally sick”:
We believe that history is absolute proof that “race-mixers” are mentally sick (Deut. 32:8). (Ruckman, Peter. Twenty-Two Years of the Bible Believers' Bulletin Volume #7 Strictly Personal. 2004, p. 112)
Perhaps the most racist comment in Ruckman’s writings is the following:
Negroes have to be carried. Where they are left to themselves they resort to mugging, rape, slavery, dope traffic, and eventually cannibalism. (Ruckman, Peter. History of the New Testament Church. Vol. 2, 1984, footnote 44.9, Chapter 11)
Some verses to ponder in conclusion:
Lev 19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Hideous and distressing
Hi,
These comments are honestly shocking, the more so for coming from a pastor. Would you be able to upload a scan of the page with the quotation about the cannibalism so we can verify that these are his sentiments, or could you give us a page number from his book? Thanks
Re: Hideous and distressing
The footnote section in the back of the book strangely did not have page numbers. I have attached a scan of the quote.
Thanks! It's truly awful.

Jealousy, Envy, Hypocrisy
Thou doest the same things...how deep and pervasive sin is. All accusations show that intolerance and ignorance is a vicious cycle. Did you know homosexuals are even more INTOLERANT of those who don't tolerate them?
Repent! Go on with the bible and win your own converts to the Lord. Get your own crowd to teach and buy your books and DVDs. Go train and disciple your own missionaries and children in the faith.
Can God use a man despite of himself? Most definitely, it's the only way he can use us...yes any of us. Rejoice that Christ is preached. If Peter Ruckman is a racist, and he does seem to be, rejoice that he has preached to blacks in prison and led more of them to Christ than you have (any of you, I guarantee it).
Forget him, forget me...Go on with the bible and pray for the power to preach the word of truth.

Re: PRAY THE LORD WOULD DESTROY DOC'S MINISTRY
I don't always approve these kinds of posts, but I do occasionaly so you can see how Ruckman defenders often react when their leader is exposed. Regarding whether Ruckman should be kept accountable, see my article Ruckman, his defenders, and the issue of accountability.

Visitor, you did a much better job showing who Peter Ruckman and his most devoted followers really are, than the webmaster of this site could ever show us. You pretty much confirmed what this site has said about Peter Ruckman is correct. How do we prove Ruckman's teachings false? Easy--the Bible does not teach them. It says nothing about women getting 33 year old bodies, therefore I don't have to prove that doctrine false--it is false from the get-go. The same goes for the rest of his doctrines. To reply to our question of prove his teachings in the Scripture with a question back telling us to disprove it, does not work. You and Mr. Ruckman have to prove his new teachings from the Bible, and neither you nor him can do it. Visitor you say Ruckman is not racist, and then defend that statement with some of the most racist comments I have heard in a long time. Webmaster keep up the good work.
[This post was slightly edited by the Webmaster to clean up grammar and punctuation and to remove a couple words that some might consider "name calling"]
Re: racist
"I GUARANTEE that this quote is taken out of context...No way he said this."
You should check for yourself before making such an accusation. I provided the page number of the book in which Ruckman did indeed state such a thing within context. Ruckman did not apply his statement to blacks as a whole as you wrongly assume.
"YOU ARE EITHER VERY DISHONEST or are very careless in your quotations."
How could you say this when you have not looked up the references? You are only assuming that I took Ruckman out of context, but you have documented nothing.
"THE MONKEY MEN are people who believe in evolution and who teach at the schools and write the books. HE'S NOT TALKING ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!"
The quote in which Ruckman uses the phrase "monkey men" was not talking about professors or evolutionists. In fact, the sentence immediately following the mention of "monkey men" goes as follows: "It is an old, old story. The rule is: unless 'whitey' shows the black man how to play the piano, the tuba, the trombone, the banjo, the saxophone, the clarinet, and the trumpet, he stays squatted in front of a hollow log."
I will not reply to more of your post, because you did not even bother to look up what I quoted before attempting to defend Ruckman. Since you say you graduated from PBI, not doubt you could easily have access to these books by Ruckman through your contacts so you could see for yourself what he really wrote. I urge you to reconsider who you are following and defending. Look to Christ and His Word, not man. Christ will never fail you.
Human being...
Thank You
Re: Thank You
You stated: "...But not nessesarily in any defence whatsoever of some of the hereticle doctrines of Dr. Ruckman."
Why do you promote Peter Ruckman in your website then? Since you acknowledged that he has some heretical doctrines, why did you lament that my entire website is dedicated to exposing him? I went to www.antiochbiblesociety.org and it lists you as webmaster. In your own website you praise Ruckman as a "veteran in the war for the Bible." With all due respect, your actions do not match your words.
Re: Human being...
Since you came across as defensive of Peter Ruckman after seeing this website, I have a hard time believing that you have never heard of him before. But I can't prove that you haven't, so I will let that go.
I live far away from Peter Ruckman, and he did not personally "commit a trespass against me" (until he responded to my personal letter) if you have Matthew 18 in mind. I do not belong to his church, so I could not possibly take him before the church if he would not listen to me alone or with witnesses. Besides, judging by the way he publicly bashes those who disagree with him (going as far as saying they should "rot in their own dung" in one case), he makes it clear that he does not want to be approached. But I did write him a private letter in 2004 in which I pointed out a few things that appear on this website. He wrote back with a nasty letter, accusing me of being a "lying rascal" (among other things) without demonstrating that I had indeed lied. By the way, since you apparently wanted me to apply Matthew 18, why have you not likewise asked if Ruckman has applied Matthew 18 before bashing people publicly in his books?
