Examples of racism in Ruckman’s writings

We are aware that Ruckman grew up in an era in which racism was more prevalent, however some of the views he espouses now would surely have been considered extreme even during his youth. There seems to be few (if any) black Ruckmanites who in turn are well-informed of Ruckman’s many views. This should not be a surprise, as by his portrayal of African Americans it is obvious he is trying to drive them away rather than recruit them to his line of thinking. He does occasionally mention witnessing to blacks, but if some of them would have known his views in advance, it is likely they would have rejected his message. Ruckman in his writings is quick to associate something he dislikes or disagrees on with Africa, if there is some kind of connection, regardless of how remote or incidental or irrelevant. When making derogative comments about blacks, he frequently makes “all inclusive” statements, which is common when trying to create a negative stereotype. Notice how he words the following, as if there were no exceptions:

Prejudice is a permanent trait of colored people, and no amount of “Civil Rights” will ever cure it. (Ruckman, Peter. The Pastoral Epistles. 1989, p. 121)

The following all-inclusive statement is even more blatant. Notice how he uses the words “all” and “every”:

All black people are racists. They have color-consciousness that affects every decision they make in life, and they make decisions on the basis of color. (Ruckman, Peter. The Pastoral Epistles. 1989, p. 121)

In the following quote Ruckman portrays blacks as always less intelligent than whites:

If you notice that no matter how much integration is carried out, the IQ of blacks is ALWAYS lower than whites… (Ruckman, Peter. Discrimination: The Key to Sanity. 1994, p. 15)

In a 1994 book, Ruckman continues insulting the intelligence of blacks as follows:

…people who could not invent a calendar or even a wheel…If white Dutchmen had not come down there and showed "the first black man to use a white bathroom" how to farm, build, manufacture, mine, merchandise, sanitize, regulate, and organize a civilization, there would be no civilization there. It was the Shemites who built the Egyptian empire, and it is NOT in central Africa; it borders Asia and had access to all the wisdom and culture of the east (Mesopotamia, Syria, Persia, Chalead, and Israel) through the centuries. Eqypt is now the exception which the monkey men use to overthrow the rule. It is an old, old story. The rule is: unless "whitey" shows the black man how to play the piano, the tuba, the trombone, the banjo, the saxophone, the clarinet, and the trumpet, he stays squatted in front of a hollow log. (Ruckman, Peter. Discrimination: The Key to Sanity. 1994, p. 20)

In the following quote, Ruckman refers to those who want to mix the races as being “mentally sick”:

We believe that history is absolute proof that “race-mixers” are mentally sick (Deut. 32:8). (Ruckman, Peter. Twenty-Two Years of the Bible Believers' Bulletin Volume #7 Strictly Personal. 2004, p. 112)

That Ruckman makes an effort to portray blacks in as negative light as is possible is clear in the following statement:

Up in North Alabama on a Sunday afternoon, many of the colored folks gather after church to eat red clay, out of the red clay banks. They eat it raw, with spoons —trying to get back the original color. (Bible Believers’ Bulletin. Dec. 1991, p. 17)

This rare practice is known as geophagia, but it is not restricted to one race as Ruckman implies. Therefore it is an obvious attempt to attribute a negative stereotype to a particular race.

More negative stereotyping, courtesy of one of Ruckman’s Bible commentaries:

Now where are they? They are in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Cleveland eating dog food. That’s where they are. They’re killing each other. That’s what they’re doing. (Ruckman, Peter. The Books of First and Second Corinthians. Pensacola, FL: Bible Baptist Bookstore, 2002, pp. 151-152)

The following statement is attributed to one of his ex-wives, but in spite of its demeaning nature, somehow Ruckman felt it worthy to print with no objections:

My ex-wife said, “Well Julia, do you know that you colored folks, really, ah, SMELL kind of peculiar to us white folks?” (Ruckman, Peter. Segregation or Integration. Pensacola, FL: BB Bookstore, 2002 reprint, p. 44)

In his 1969 commentary on the book of Genesis (p. 268), Ruckman admitted that “a Negro hates ‘N…’” (he spells the whole word out).  If Ruckman knew this derogatory term was hurtful all the way back in 1969, why did he continue to use it from the pulpit and place the entire word in print on numerous occasions in subsequent years? His disdain for a significant portion of the world’s population created in the image of God is tragically obvious.

Perhaps the most racist comment in Ruckman’s writings is the following:

Negroes have to be carried. Where they are left to themselves they resort to mugging, rape, slavery, dope traffic, and eventually cannibalism. (Ruckman, Peter. History of the New Testament Church. Vol. 2, 1984, footnote 44.9, Chapter 11)

No Christian, much less a minister of the Gospel who trains preachers, should ever state the kind of shameful and racist remarks herein revealed, in public or in private. Ruckman is in clear violation of Titus 2:8: Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.  2 Cor. 6:3 is also relevant: Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.

Some verses to ponder in conclusion:

Lev 19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

“The IQ is always lower” I GUARANTEE that this quote is taken out of context. I graduated from PBI and have heard MANY times his views on blacks. He is well aware that there are some blacks that have very high IQ’s, as there are 36 million in America. No way he said this. The whole statement would be something like, “every test or everytime races AS A WHOLE have been tested, THE BLACKS ARE ALWAYS LOWER…..” What you anti Ruckmanites fail to do is answer the “shocking statements” You just list it for shock value, taking advantage of people’s ignorance, than leave it unanswered. Such as “different plans of salvation” or “women will be 33 year old men” etc…. Well is it true? What verses does he use to say it’s true? Why is it false? WHAT VERSE SAYS IT’S FALSE? Is the statement on the IQ of blacks (as I correctly stated it)true or false? IT’S 100% TRUE. This is a fact. This is not racism. Look it up in any encyclopedia or even wikipedia and see that blacks and mexicans have the lowest IQ’s and Jews and Orientals have the highest. (I’m not either, so don’t call me a racist).

“The monkey men” YOU ARE EITHER VERY DISHONEST or are very careless in your quotations. THE MONKEY MEN are people who believe in evolution and who teach at the schools and write the books. HE’S NOT TALKING ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!

OK, you prove to me that race mixing has been successful. you’ll die before that happens. It’s never been successful (Spiritually). And it’s UNBIBLICAL. (Deut 32:8 Acts 17)

“Negroes have to be carried” I think 4,000 years of human history proves this to be true. You just list the statement and assume everyone will be shocked and angry because they are ignorant and brainwashed by the media and their education into thinking these statements are false. I have talked to missionaries from South Africa who have verified 100% this statement of Ham being left to himself after “whitey” leaves. They know what happens.

Gal 3:28 eh????? Same verse the queers use to prove homosexual marriage. This verse is not talking about physical things. There are still men and women physically in Christ, I believe.

    • Jordan says:

If race mixing is unsuccessful then answer me why the lineage of Jesus is full race mixing?

      • Chad David says:

Chapter and verse please!?  Christs generations were pure.  From Jacob onward we see the attention to the purity of the race of Christ's liniage.  Rebecca was brought from the homeland whilst Essau took two Canaanite women and paid dearly, God hated him!

Not sure where you get a comment like that from?  Certainly many Israelites fornicated, however, it's fact that Jesus was of pure Israelite blood.

        • Rob says:

Matthew 1:5.  Both Rahab & Ruth were gentiles.  Rahab was a Canaanite and Ruth was a Moabite.  Both post Jacob.  Jesus was NOT of pure Israelite blood as you put it.  Both of those women were also ancestors of David from whom Mary descended.

        • Elle says:

Rob is right about Jesus genealogy in Matthew 1. God dealt harshly with Miriam in NUMBERS 12 for opposing Moses marrying an Ethiopian woman. What about Leviticus 19:34 telling Israel to treat foreigners as themselves since they were also foreigners in Egypt ?

The reason for separation in Gen 11 was men’s imagination, not once did God mention their race. Man is the one creating fables about God’s intentions, out of their own wicked hearts.

          • Webmaster says:

Good observations. It seems the separations ordered by God had to do mostly with nations and cultures (mostly because of heathenism prevalent within them) and not skin color.

    • Elle says:

Race mixing will not make whites, blacks, jews or asians disappear. God seperated the races because man wanted to elevate himself and was plotting against God as shows Gen 11. It was never for “racist” reason, and even in the OT race mixing endorsed by God can be found.

How would you explain God dealing harshly with Miriam in NUMBERS 12 for opposing Moses marrying an Ethiopian woman ? What about Leviticus 19:34 telling Israel to treat foreigners as themselves since they were also foreigners in Egypt ?

      Two things here :
      – God is not against IRR if the foreigner assimilated to the nation of Israel, culturally and spiritually. God was against intermingling for the Israelites who adopted the other gods of foreign nations. This is why, since it’s spiritual, it is BETTER to marry a christian of a different race (equally yoked) than a non-christian of the same race (unqually yoked).
      – God told Israel to treat the minorities as themselves, because THEY themselves were minorities somewhere else. If that’s not a position against racism, I don’t know what is.

Not to mention, Matthew 1 shows foreign women in the genealogy of Jesus. Ruth for instance was a Moabite.

      Case closed.

Thank you Elle this racism deeply saddens me and has shocked me I never knew these things about him. I'm soooooooooooo embarrassed for him wow just wow

"I GUARANTEE that this quote is taken out of context…No way he said this."

You should check for yourself before making such an accusation. I provided the page number of the book in which Ruckman did indeed state such a thing within context. Ruckman did not apply his statement to blacks as a whole as you wrongly assume.

"YOU ARE EITHER VERY DISHONEST or are very careless in your quotations."

How could you say this when you have not looked up the references? You are only assuming that I took Ruckman out of context, but you have documented nothing.

"THE MONKEY MEN are people who believe in evolution and who teach at the schools and write the books. HE’S NOT TALKING ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!"

The quote in which Ruckman uses the phrase "monkey men" was not talking about professors or evolutionists. In fact, the sentence immediately following the mention of "monkey men" goes as follows: "It is an old, old story. The rule is: unless ‘whitey’ shows the black man how to play the piano, the tuba, the trombone, the banjo, the saxophone, the clarinet, and the trumpet, he stays squatted in front of a hollow log."

I will not reply to more of your post, because you did not even bother to look up what I quoted before attempting to defend Ruckman. Since you say you graduated from PBI, not doubt you could easily have access to these books by Ruckman through your contacts so you could see for yourself what he really wrote. I urge you to reconsider who you are following and defending. Look to Christ and His Word, not man. Christ will never fail you.

Amen to the Webmaster. In typical Ruckmanite fashion, the above Ruckman follower does as his master teaches well; he attacks and accuses without basis. He couldn’t even check his teacher’s quotes before accusing you of being in error. Such a waste of time to talk to these types. The live in their own reality and will one day have to answer to God for it.

    • Alan Lado says:

It is so sad to hear this from a minister. I personally am very blessed by listening to teachers like missionary evangelist Pastor Robert Breaker, who studied in PBI and always clarifies that he is fond of the young Ruckman and not the old Ruckman. But I could not stand listening to or reading not only Ruckman's remarks on black people but also the disdain and inhumanity with which he treats homosexual people. I know homosexuality is a sin, but this man almost never shows a drop of compassion for the souls of homosexuals, who already live quite depressing and gloomy lives, instead he treats them like subhuman things who are always filthy and perverted. (I know of homosexual men who are the among the most honourable people I know, the most respectful, the most intelligent and creative, the most sober; I bet Ruckman never heard of Joseph Randall Ackerley or of John Laurens). I heard him say things like "that man sounds like he had more than friends in the army", or "I know the voice of a man when I hear it and I know the voice of a fruit when I hear it" (this in a message he gave called "Rapture" from 15:17 onwards). He didn't hesitate to call all homosexuals faggots, and he mocked them and encouraged mocking them in his preaching, where you can hear almost all the congregation shouting "Amen!" to his remarks.

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;"

      1 Timothy 3:2-3

      – Alan Lado. Blessings!

Visitor, you did a much better job showing who Peter Ruckman and his most devoted followers really are, than the webmaster of this site could ever show us. You pretty much confirmed what this site has said about Peter Ruckman is correct. How do we prove Ruckman’s teachings false? Easy–the Bible does not teach them. It says nothing about women getting 33 year old bodies, therefore I don’t have to prove that doctrine false–it is false from the get-go. The same goes for the rest of his doctrines. To reply to our question of prove his teachings in the Scripture with a question back telling us to disprove it, does not work. You and Mr. Ruckman have to prove his new teachings from the Bible, and neither you nor him can do it. Visitor you say Ruckman is not racist, and then defend that statement with some of the most racist comments I have heard in a long time. Webmaster keep up the good work.

[This post was slightly edited by the Webmaster to clean up grammar and punctuation and to remove a couple words that some might consider "name calling"]

  4. Anonymous says:

Why do you defend him? He is obviously a racist. I didn’t have an opinion until I started reading one of his books where he made it evident that he is for segregation. It’s unfortunate that you are a “fan” of this man. You should be a fan of the truth.

  5. Anonymous says:

Why don’t you ask Tracy of the Jesus is Lord website what she, a black woman, heard first-hand at a church where Ruckman was the guest speaker! Oh, and what she heard Ruckman’s pal William Grady saying about black folks, too. Ruckman (and Grady) degraded and insulted the black race right in front of her, made her cry, and she had to get up and leave the sanctuary and go outside. Go ask Tracy. Put some truth behind your claims by finding out for yourself what Ruckman really thinks of blacks and what he really has to say about them in public speaking engagements. If you’re not black, you need to keep your mouth quiet. You say things you know nothing about. You speak as a fool, just like your mentor. You don’t read your Bible very well, because if you did you would see that it exposes Ruckman as a liar and a corrupt man. Shame on you!

  6. Anonymous says:

I read all your post and it was an issue to a single man. I do not know Peter Ruckman and never heard this man in my whole life. I think the biblical view of this is if you have problem with your brother go to him and talk to him. This is a Biblical Christianity.

    • Al says:

WRONG! Don’t pull the Matthew 28 stunt. Matthew 28 is for private matters only. It is not for public teachers. Ruckman’s teachings are very public, published in his many books and spoken in his church and at conferences. Please go and read your Bible correctly to learn what “Biblical Christianity” is.

      • Al says:

        Type: Matthew 18.

        • Timothy S. says:

Wrong. Ruckman’s teachings are not “public.” All of his written material is self published which you must PAY for.

          • Webmaster says:

That seems to be a weak argument (that writings are not public if you have to pay for them). Private writings usually refer to personal letters or confidential writings restricted to a closed circle of people. Such material is not available at any price, hence not public. Also Ruckman’s bookstore website has made available selected older editions of the Bulletin for free, in addition to radio broadcasts.

‘I have talked to missionaries from South Africa who have verified 100% this statement of Ham being left to himself after “whitey” leaves.’

I am South African, and I agree that the country is experiencing a huge socio-political upheaval right now. But I do not want you to remain ignorant of the truth: For generations, black South Africans were denied decent education, decent housing, decent employment opportunities, and even the opportunity for a husband to live in the same home as his wife and children. It was not a case of “Ham being left to himself”; we white South Africans shackled Ham and should not be surprised that he is learning to walk.

    • Anonymous says:

I'm glad that you're honest, it's unfortunate that many white so-called Christians deny these facts, I've also come to realise that many hold the same views as Ruckman. One thing we can all agree on is that, our biggest problem is sin and not reading the bible for ourselves. The reason we are here is because white people were used by the devil to oppress black people and black people were colonized because they too transgressed against God with many of them forsaking Lord Jesus Christ and turning to idols. Much of South African history has also been manipulated, most of the apartheid South African historians were biased white people who perpetuated the 'empty uncivilised land myth'. Christianity and Judaism came to Africa before it reached Europe, we can see with Queen Candace's Eunuch in Acts 8:27-39, Acts 8:27-28, 36-38 "And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him."
This passage also proves that black people could also read before European colonialism. What matters the most though is that we should all repent daily, living holy, resisting the devil and loving God and our neighbours, enduring until the end so that we can be saved. Read our Bibles and forsaking man's doctrines as the Pharisees did.

Matthew 15:7-14 "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

May God bless the whole church and those who aren't saved to come to His saving knowledge and grace, in Lord Jesus Christ's mighty name, amen .

Since you came across as defensive of Peter Ruckman after seeing this website, I have a hard time believing that you have never heard of him before. But I can’t prove that you haven’t, so I will let that go.

I live far away from Peter Ruckman, and he did not personally "commit a trespass against me" (until he responded to my personal letter) if you have Matthew 18 in mind. I do not belong to his church, so I could not possibly take him before the church if he would not listen to me alone or with witnesses. Besides, judging by the way he publicly bashes those who disagree with him (going as far as saying they should "rot in their own dung" in one case), he makes it clear that he does not want to be approached. But I did write him a private letter in 2004 in which I pointed out a few things that appear on this website. He wrote back with a nasty letter, accusing me of being a "lying rascal" (among other things) without demonstrating that I had indeed lied. By the way, since you apparently wanted me to apply Matthew 18, why have you not likewise asked if Ruckman has applied Matthew 18 before bashing people publicly in his books?

  9. Anonymous says:

You know, I usually do not ever reply on any postings. But I ran across this website while looking for something about “Dr.,Pastor” or whatever you followers of this man call Ruckman because the subject came up about him this morning with me and my husband. I don’t even know why. But I will say, that I have personally sat through (excuse me, I tried to sit through many of his sermons) about 12 years ago. I was raised in a KJV Bible believing church. But my boyfriend at the time was a member there. I went to many services with him and I could never sit through even half of a church service. That man is full of hatred and ignorance, and I make no apologies, the devil’s spirit. I was raised to believe the KJV, but racism is in no way biblical. We were all created by God. And this man claims to be a true believer in the Bible and a servant of God (actually, he seems to think he is God). He takes scripture completely out of context. He doesn’t even believe the Bible he so strongly supports. But, back to the racism issue, I personally heard very many racist comments in his sermons. There were many times, when someone of a different race or ethnic background would accidentally come through the doors of that place (it had to be accident, because no one of a different race would come through those doors if they knew what he was), he would make every racist comment or joke that he could possibly come up with to make sure that they left. He literally made me physically ill to the point that I would have to leave. And I am white. I do not know why I came back to anymore services. I was young, stupid, and was in love with my boyfriend, I guess. But I am so ashamed that I ever went to that church for any amount of time. This man is most definitely a false prophet. And to visitor, you have most definitely been brainwashed by Ruckman’s teachings, and I am very sorry for you, but maybe one day, you will see him for what he is.

Thank you very much for your comment. I am also in strong defence of the KJV Bible, But not nessesarily in any defence whatsoever of some of the hereticle doctrines of Dr. Ruckman. You all are missing one thing. What about the fruit of the ministry? Anyone who sits under a pastor who does what he teaches and preaches as long as it is biblical, good for them and the Lord.

I am curious to know how many souls each of you have one (don’t answer – it will be revealed at the Judgment Seat of Christ)

How many of you give above the tithe (if you tithe)

How many of you read your King James Bible everyday?

Do you have gospel tracts on you right now?

Do you have a new testament on you right now?

When’s the last time you stood out in public and exalted Jesus Christ and held up the SCRIPTURES to oncoming cars – hollering “The only answers of the worlds problems are found here in this book – God’s words!”

I encourage anyone who thinks his minisry from God is to put down Peter Ruckman to let it go. If it is of God, who are you to fight against it and woe to the person who finds himself fighting against God.

If you have never sat down with Dr. Ruckman or Bro. Donovan and asked all the questions and concerns that you have – than what is your motive? Call them or visit them. They will talk with you believe it or not.

Maybe since God listens to all your prayers and carries out your requests – Maybe you should pray that God would strike Dr. Ruckman down, or burn the church building down. Let’s not be a panzy about it. Either Doc needs to shut up forever or you need to shut up forever! I have personally witnessed a pastor preach against some man in Pensacola (never to be named) – he wasted an whole hour talking about “this” man when we could have been getting a message from the SCRIPTURES. Coincidence? Maybe – but he dropped dead after preaching that message. hmmm.

PLEASE: MAKE YOUR PRAYERS SOLID AND BOLD AND PRAY THAT GOD WOULD DESTROY ALL THE WORKS OF PETER S.RUCKMAN AND THE BOOK STORE THAT PROPAGATES HIS BOOKS AND THE BIBLE INSTITUTE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE 60’s AND TO DESTROY ALL THE MEN AND THE MINISTRIES THAT HAVE COME OUT OF BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH OF PENSACOLA AND TELL GOD IF YOU ARE WRONG ASK HIM TO TAKE YOUR LIFE INSTEAD.

If you are right, so be it. If you wrong, so be it.

If you won’t pray a prayer like that – THAN SHUT UP – GET A BURDEN FOR SOULS – STUFF YOU SHIRT AND BAGS WITH GOSPEL TRACTS AND HAVE MORE REWARDS THAN ME AT THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST! I SINCERELY HOPE YOU DO. NO KIDDING.

YOU CAN VISIT BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH ANYTIME YOU WANT. JUST EMAIL ME FOR DIRECTIONS.

I appreciate the specific details provided by this website that help expose an error or mistake. To list all the good things an individual has done should never be used to cover for their shortcomings or justify their sins. I personally have several PBI students working for me and I value highly their character and work ethic and spiritual zeal and we have a great relationship. I do however caution them against the  "we are right" mentality that comes out now and then because it ultimately will not only hinder productive life changing conversation with others but also limit your own personal growth. I sincerely hope that the folks at PBI can build on the gold, silver, precious stones, that Dr Ruckman has left behind while discarding the wood, hay, stubble which will hinder the progress of the great kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let's not be afraid to do the difficult work of weighing sifting and testing the words of men against the pure truth of God's word. I love the specific, patient, kind, interchange that builds and grows men of God.

I don’t always approve these kinds of posts, but I do occasionaly so you can see how Ruckman defenders often react when their leader is exposed. Regarding whether Ruckman should be kept accountable, see my article Ruckman, his defenders, and the issue of accountability.

You stated: "…But not nessesarily in any defence whatsoever of some of the hereticle doctrines of Dr. Ruckman."

Why do you promote Peter Ruckman in your website then? Since you acknowledged that he has some heretical doctrines, why did you lament that my entire website is dedicated to exposing him? I went to http://www.antiochbiblesociety.org and it lists you as webmaster. In your own website you praise Ruckman as a "veteran in the war for the Bible." With all due respect, your actions do not match your words.

    • I previously had him on my website in association with the particular topic of the King James Bible, and in that regard, he is such… “A veteran in the war for the Bible”. I do not agree with “everything” that “anybody” says, as I am not a yes-man; and that is what I intended by my statement.

Thou doest the same things…how deep and pervasive sin is. All accusations show that intolerance and ignorance is a vicious cycle. Did you know homosexuals are even more INTOLERANT of those who don’t tolerate them?
Repent! Go on with the bible and win your own converts to the Lord. Get your own crowd to teach and buy your books and DVDs. Go train and disciple your own missionaries and children in the faith.

Can God use a man despite of himself? Most definitely, it’s the only way he can use us…yes any of us. Rejoice that Christ is preached. If Peter Ruckman is a racist, and he does seem to be, rejoice that he has preached to blacks in prison and led more of them to Christ than you have (any of you, I guarantee it).

Forget him, forget me…Go on with the bible and pray for the power to preach the word of truth.

The footnote section in the back of the book strangely did not have page numbers. I have attached a scan of the quote.

Article: In the following quote from a 1994 book, Ruckman continues insulting the intelligence of blacks, even calling them “monkey men:”

Article: …people who could not invent a calendar or even a wheel…Egypt is now the exception which the monkey men use to overthrow the rule. (Ruckman, Peter. Discrimination: The Key to Sanity. 1994, p. 20)

Webmaster: The quote in which Ruckman uses the phrase “monkey men” was not talking about professors or evolutionists.

To Webmaster: Sorry, but upon first reading, it was plain to me that the term “monkey men” in his SIDE COMMENT plainly refers to evolutionists. Substitute the term evolutionists in place of monkey men and read it again:

Substitute: …people who could not invent a calendar or even a wheel… Egypt is now the exception which EVOLUTIONISTS use to overthrow the rule.

What missing text do the triple-dots represent?

Grace be to them that cherish the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. –Richard

  21. Webmaster says:

Perhaps he meant evolutionists, but there is nothing in the context to indicate that. It was entirely in a racist context. Here is more of the context:

If white Dutchmen had not come down there and showed "the first black man to use a white bathroom" how to farm, build, manufacture, mine, merchandise, sanitize, regulate, and organize a civilization, there would be no civilization there.

Even if Ruckman meant "monkey men" to be a reference to evolutionists, what he said which we just quoted is sickening and racist to the core. I may revise the article providing more of the context to allow people to decide for themselves.

  22. Dave Kinsella says:

“Does the Book say that Ham’s descendants will serve Orientals and Caucasians no matter what steps are taken to change things? Progress: social promotions for illiterates, banishment of I.Q. tests, affirmative action, and the NAACP.”

Peter Ruckman – E=MC2 or the bigger the belfry, the room for the bats

Ruckman here, adds this along with other items as negative elements of so-called progress by godless scientists. This is crazy thinking.

    • Dave Kinsella says:

I have the kindle edition so I don’t know the page number, but you may be able to do a search on Amazon for some keywords of the quote on the selected ebook. Rckman is racist, no question.

  23. PBI Grad says:

Ok, so Dr. Ruckman is racists, and has many races going to his church. He has a lot of good stuff and some bad just like this website, get what ya can and trash the rest SERVE GOD and put the dirty laundry away… Lets see if this gets removed.

  24. Dr. Ruckman hates women………he never fails to put them down……lets us have some discussion on this issue……

  25. John says:

“OK, you prove to me that race mixing has been successful. you’ll die before that happens. It’s never been successful (Spiritually). And it’s UNBIBLICAL. (Deut 32:8 Acts 17)”

So you refer to the Old Testament law which was speaking to the israelites to prove your point that “race mixing” is unbiblical? Do you also stone your children? Refrain from pork and shellfish? I mean, if you are going to follow the OT law you may as well follow it all. Ruckman is a racist, plain and simple. Not only is he a racist but he is wrong about nearly everything.

    • James says:

God divided the races before the OT law (read the Tower of babel account).

      Acts 17:26 says…
“and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:”

God seperated / segregated the nations so we would seek after Him. I’m pretty sure God knows what he’s doing.

God chose one race of people (the Hebrews/Jews) and He treats them differently than any other race on the planet. God has also made promises to the Jews that He hasn’t made to any other race.

What does that make someone if they favor one race over another….according to the world?

  26. Daniel Guyewski says:

This website is nothing more than a libelous smear page of the worst sort that it’s publishers should be ashamed of. The people who publish this offensive website will answer to God and experience judgement from God for attempting to slander and bear false witness against such a great man of God like Dr. Ruckman. This site is a disgrace to the cause of Christ!

  27. jasonc65 says:

Is Jimmy Taylor the racist missionary in Uganda a Ruckmanite? I first heard about him from Adeola Fayehun and later Huffpost and Heavy. While abusing Francis, he displayed many of the characteristics reported here, including a messiah complex.

    • Webmaster says:

I don’t think so. Most Ruckmanite missionaries avoid the African continent altogether. I do know of an exception or two. Ruckman in his writings is quick to associate something he dislikes or disagrees on with Africa, if there is some kind of connection, regardless of how remote or incidental or irrelevant.

It is ironic (considering Ruckman’s disdain for anything associated with Africa) that Old Latin manuscripts, which are supposed to be among the oldest and closest witnesses to the underlying text of the KJV, originate from, or are at least associated with–Africa! (http://www.bible-researcher.com/oldlatin.html)

      • George says:

The Bible says got the oldest writings of the Bible come from Antioch not Africa

        • Does that diminish Africa in any way? Would you rather an Indo-European language have been the language in the which the word was inspired immidiately as holy men of God were carried along by the Holy Spirit, which Ruckman denied? By the way, Mediterraneans are not exactly Caucasian, you know.

  28. jasonc65 says:

Greek is an Indo-European language. The New Testament is written in Greek.

  29. jasonc65 says:

I have seen some Rukkkmanites show up in Nigeria. There is a hyperdisp fake pastor by the name of Ebenezer Robinson. His Facebook page is atrocious. These black Rukkkmanites exist. I have met a Branhamite (New Apostate Racist) who stands with Sowore (the Trump of Nigeria). Before you know it, there will be a black Rukkkanite in the Congo who is thrown in with Lumumbists. These black Rukkkmanites exist. Why? Corruption is their struggle, and these funky, nasty, crroked doctrines are part of it.

  30. Lin says:

Absolute wickedness!  True born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, would never, ever make these statements.

  31. Jon Kragen says:

First of all, I would like to say that I am not a "Ruckmanite" I accept what Ruckman says that lines up with scripture and I reject what doesn't line up with scripture.

I don't agree with Ruckman's belief that the KJV is "advanced revelation" above the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Although I do believe that God has preserved his word through the ages (Psalms 12:6-7, Psalms 119:89, Isaiah 40:8, 1 Peter 1:25).

I believe that the King James Bible is enough for me when it comes to doctrine, instruction and righteousness, and for matters of faith and practises. I usually only use Greek and Hebrew to define certain words.

On the issue of racial separatism, Ruckman is correct that the word of God says that kindreds should be separate. Plus, the facts of history prove this, racial tensions always arise when kindreds mingle together, interracial relationships have higher rates of spousal abuse (it's up there with the rates of spousal abuse among sodomite couples), and studies have shown that interracial marriages can have a negative mental health effect on the biracial child.

Genesis 10 defines what the isles of the Gentiles are. Genesis 10:5, Genesis 10:25, and Genesis 10:31-32 are clear that God divided the Gentile nations, each after their own tongue. Deuteronomy 32:8 is clear that God separated and divided and set the bounds of the people (there are 12 boundaries).

Deuteronomy 32:8 (KJV) – "When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel."

This is repeated in Acts 17:26, which says that God made all nations of one blood and he also set the bounds of their habitation.

Acts 17:26 (KJV) – "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation."

You quoted from Galatians 3:28. That verse is not saying that we are all one human race.

Notice how the verse also says “there is neither male and female” so if we are going to be consistent with your viewpoint then I guess that gender doesn't exist either (I've seen transgender "Christians" try to use that verse to condone transgenderism), however clear gender distinction is given in scripture (1 Cor. 11:3-10, 1 Cor. 14:34-35, Eph. 5:22-25, Col. 3:18-19, 1 Pet. 3:1-6, 1 Tim. 2:11-12).

What is Paul saying in Galatians 3:28?

Paul is simply saying that God will save anyone regardless of kindred and that when you are saved than your kindred doesn’t make you better than somebody of a different kindred who is saved, a saved Jew is not better than a saved Gentile based on racial lines, and Jesus will save both regardless of race. This verse does not in any way teach that we are only one human race.

    • Webmaster says:

I’m curious as to how you would apply your interpretation practically to real life today. Should all countries be inhabited with people of only one race and run everyone else off? Should churches instruct ushers to only allow those of only one race to enter? Should biracial couples separate? I'm not accusing, only asking.

    • Webmaster says:

Not a Ruckmanite? Your disclaimer seems meaningless when there is a link directing readers to Ruckman's bookstore page on (your?) website you listed as part of submitting your comment!

      • Jon Kragen says:

I am not a Ruckmanite, meaning that if Ruckman teaches something contrary to scripture then I reject it. The word of God is the standard for faith and practise (2 Timothy 3:16-17), not Ruckman. I have disagreements with Ruckman on various issues, Ruckman was scripturally off on various areas. The scriptures are my standard, not Peter Ruckman.

One of the areas that I disagree with Ruckman on is his stance that the KJV more than an accurate translation of God's preserved word, but that the KJV is advanced revelation above the received Greek text, and Hebrew and Aramaic text. I disagree with Ruckman on that. I don't see any issue with using the Greek and Hebrew to define certain words (which is what I primarily use the Greek and Hebrew for, on my website's section on "dispensationalism" I use the Greek to define some words).

With regard to your other comment, I don't believe in segregated churches, I'm only against interracial marriage. If I was a pastor, I wouldn't marry an interracial couple, but if I had a church and a black person, or an Arab person wanted to become a member, I would not turn them away based on racial lines. We are all one in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11, 1 Corinthians 12:13), membership in a church is not dictated by race, just as membership in the body of Christ is not determined by race (Romans 10:12). Revelation 5:9-11 shows blood redeemed saints of all kindreds in heaven.

Countries should only be inhabited by the indigenous population (e.g. Arabs in Arabia, Persians in Persia, whites in Europe, blacks in Africa etc.) There is no harm in people of other kindreds visiting other boundaries as missionaries and evangelists, but they teach the indigenous people of that area to evangelize their own people.

If an interracial marriage happened before the couple got saved then the couple should stay together because interracial marriage is not grounds for divorce, the only grounds for divorce is fornication (Matthew 5:32, Matthew 19:9), not interracial marriage that was committed before the couple's salvation.
